Infertility and it’s treatments cause either physical conflicts or mental reactions specailly anxiety, that may influence treatment success.
So, determining the effects of preparation sessions on anxiety level and treatment success of infertile women, 160 subjects between the age of 18 to 35 years, selected casually and assigned in two groups of case and control contributed in a clinical trial study. The case group participated in preparation sessions, whereas both groups filled up anxiety questionnaris at the beginning of the study.
Findings showed a statistically meaningful relation between the preparation sessions and the level of anxeity in these women (P<0/0001), But regarding treatment success we did not find any meaningful relationship.
To conclude, being prepared has a positive effect on anxiety level of infertile women during treatment, so preparation sesssions should be considered in the process of treatment of them.
