The aim of this paper is to introduce new methods of colorectal and anus surgeries. It is not a comprehensive paper and just is a summary of issues related to colon surgeries due to intestinal inflammatory diseases (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease), and anus cancer. Ulcerative colitis usually initiates from rectum and then develops upward to colon. There are three methods of surgery for ulcerative colitis. Difference between these methods is how residual colon is protected. One method is continent ileostomy which is the most traditional method. In this method ileostomy is done for patient without use of external bag for drainage. One standard method is total colon resection from ileosecal conjunction to anus and then is end-ileostomy. The third method is pocket-pelvic method. Today this method is prefers as an essential way to treat ulcerative colitis and familial polyps. In this method drainage of feces will be normally from anus.
