میزان رعایت خلوت بیماران در طی مراقبتهای پرستاری از دیدگاه پرستاران و بیماران

<p>داشتن خلوت یکی از نیازهای اساسی انسان بوده و ستون اصلی ارائه مراقبتهای درمانی محسوب میگردد. پرستاران به دلیل ماهیت خاص حرفه ای خود نقش منحصر به فردی در برآورده شدن نیاز به خلوت بیماران دارند. هدف این مطالعه مقایسه دیدگاه پرستاران و بیماران در مورد میزان رعایت خلوت بیماران در طی مراقبتهای پرستاری و عوامل موثر بر این دیدگاهها میباشد. این مطالعه از نوع توصیفی مقایسه ای بوده و کلیه پرستاران سه بیمارستان وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تبریز (109 نفر) و 161 بیمار بستری در این بیمارستانها در آن شرکت داشتند. برای جمع آوری داده ها از دو پرسشنامه هم ارز استفاده گردید. قسمت اول پرسشنامه ها دربرگیرنده اطلاعات فردی بیماران و پرستاران بوده و قسمت دوم دیدگاه پرستاران و بیماران در مورد میزان رعایت خلوت بیماران را مورد بررسی قرار میداد. نتایج نشان داد که بین دیدگاه پرستاران (میانگین 06/33) و بیماران (میانگین 05/27) در مورد رعایت خلوت بیماران تفاوت معنی داری وجود دارد (001/0 = p). به علاوه، مشخص شد که رابطه قوی مثبتی بین تعداد روزهای بستری بیماران (001/0 = p) و نیاز بیماران به مداخلات پرستاری (019/0 = p) با دیدگاه آنان از میزان رعایت خلوتشان وجود دارد. همچنین، بین ادراک بیماران از وضعیت سلامتی شان (001/0 = p) با دیدگاه آنان از میزان رعایت خلوتشان رابطه قوی منفی وجود دارد. نتایج پژوهش نشان دهنده تفاوت بین دیدگاه پرستاران و بیماران در مورد رعایت خلوت بیماران بود. همچنین، مشخص شد که هر چه بیمار نیاز بیشتری به مراقبتهای پرستاری داشته است، سطح سلامتی وی پایینتر بوده و یا اینکه تعداد روزهای بیشتری در بیمارستان مانده باشد گزارش بهتری از رعایت خلوت خود توسط پرستاران داشته است. این میتواند نشاندهنده این باشد که هر چه تماس بیمار با پرستاران بیشتر شده دیدگاههای آنان به هم نزدیکتر شده است. </p>
<p> </p><p> <strong> Background and Aim: </strong>Privacy is a major human need and is being considered as the cornerstone of medical care. Nurses, because of the specific nature of their profession, have a substantial role in meeting the patients need for privacy. The aim of this study was to compare viewpoints of patients and nurses about respecting patient’s privacy during nursing care. </p><p> <strong> Material and Method: </strong>In this descriptive comparative study, all nurses working in three hospitals affiliated to Tabriz University of Medical Science (n= 109) and 161 patients from these hospitals were selected. The data was collected by a single questionnaire was prepared in two forms for either the patiernts or the nurses. First section of questionnaire consisted of the demographic data of the nurses and patients and the second section measured their viewpoints about respecting patients’ privacy during nursing care. </p><p> <strong> Results: </strong>The results showed that there was statistically significant difference between nurses’ (Mean = 33.06) and patients’ (Mean = 27.05) viewpoints about respecting patient’s privacy (P< 0.001). Furthermore, there was a positive powerful correlation between the days of hospitalization (P<0.001) and the needs of patients for nursing care (P= 0.019) with the patients’ viewpoint about respecting to their privacy during nursing care. Also, there was a negative powerful correlation between the perception of patients regarding their health (P<0.001) and the patients’ viewpoint of respecting to their privacy during nursing care. </p><p> <strong> Conclusion: </strong>This research showed that there were some differences between nurses and patients viewpoint about respecting the patients privacy. Furthermore, the results showed that when the patients need further nursing care, have worse health status or increase in hospitalization day, the patient’s viewpoint about respecting to their privacy during nursing care increases. This may indicate that the interaction of the patient with nursing stuff may improve their viewpoint about respecting to privacy. </p>
