زمینه و هدف: مواجه مکرر پرستاران با شرایط دردناک و رنج‌آور بیماران در بخش‌های ویژه می‌تواند منجر به کاهش کیفیت زندگی حرفه‌ای در آنان گردد که خود می‌تواند زمینه‌ساز آسیب‌های روانی، همچون افت کیفیت مراقبت و برآیندهای مراقبت از بیماران شود. با توجه به اهمیت تاب‌آوری در تحمل شرایط دشوار، پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین تاب‌آوری و ارتباط آن با کیفیت زندگی حرفه‌ای در پرستاران بخش‌های ویژه انجام شده است.
روش بررسی: این پژوهش یک مطالعه توصیفی- همبستگی است که در آن 200 نفر از پرستاران شاغل در بخش‌های ویژه بیمارستان‌های آموزشی وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی بیرجند در استان خراسان جنوبی به روش سرشماری در سال 1397 وارد مطالعه شدند. جهت جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از پرسشنامه تاب‌آوری Connor و Davidson و پرسشنامه کیفیت زندگی حرفه‌ای Stamm استفاده شد. تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و استنباطی شامل (تی تست، آنالیز واریانس و کروسکال‌والیس) در SPSS نسخه 16 انجام گرفت.
یافته‌ها: میانگین نمره کل تاب‌آوری 39/20 ± 31/60 بود. میانگین نمره سه بعد کیفیت زندگی حرفه‌ای، خستگی از شفقت 13/9 ± 54/34، فرسودگی شغلی 70/5 ± 06/24 و استرس آسیب‌زای ثانویه 86/7 ± 49/26 بود. همچنین بین تاب‌آوری و خستگی از شفقت ارتباط معکوس و معنی‌داری مشاهده شد (44/0- = r، 001/0P=).
نتیجه‌گیری کلی: با توجه به سطح متوسط ابعاد کیفیت زندگی حرفه‌ای، توجه بیشتر به عوامل مؤثر بر کیفیت زندگی حرفه‌ای ضروری است. همچنین نظر به ارتباط معنی‌دار بین تاب‌آوری و خستگی از شفقت کیفیت زندگی حرفه‌ای آموزش راهکارهای تقویت تاب‌آوری در برنامه آموزشی پرستاران و دانشجویان پرستاری توصیه می‌شود.
