EXTRACT: The aim of this study is to determine effects of education on primary schools teachers' knowledge about ophthalmic health in their students. This is a quasi experimental research. A sample of 60 teachers was selected by random sampling. The tool for data gathering was a questionnaire with two parts base on the research objectives. The first part included some questions about individual's characteristics of participants, and the second part included some questions about compliance with ophthalmic health and common ophthalmic diseases. Information of teachers' pre and post education in 95 present confident interval and using Mcnemar statistical test, had significant difference. In order to determine relationship between education and variables such as age, marital status, number of children, years of service and so on, T test were used. Correlation between scores pre and post education measured by using Pearson's correlation coefficient.
